Dr. Bill Wild has been providing veterinary services for your dogs, cats, and small mammals in Manhattan since January 2004.
Educational Background

Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine - The University of Illinois Magna Cum Laude Won the Senior Class Awards for Small Animal Surgery as well as Anesthesiology


He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1995 from The University of Illinois. He graduated Magna Cum Laude (with high honors) and won the Senior Class Awards for Small Animal Surgery as well as Anesthesiology. He continues to improve his knowledge of the most current therapies by attending many Continuing Education seminars every year.

Dr. Wild is a member of many professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. He has served as a member of the executive board of both the ISVMA and the CVMA.

Dr. Wild currently lives in Lansing, IL with his wife of 23 years, MaryAnne, their two children, Leigh Anne and Rich, as well as three dogs and a cat. He hopes to call Manhattan home a soon as possible (or in the near future).

In his spare time, Dr. Wild helps provide leadership for his son’s Boy Scout Troop, spends time with his family and friends, maintains his gardens and lawn, and enjoys riding his bicycle on many area trails.

Dr. Wild has come to love the atmosphere and people of Manhattan. He plans to be around for many years to help keep your pets healthy and happy.
